A rider in armour, naked from the waist down, screams in fear and rage as the lizard he rides sinks lifeless beneath him. Norsk kunstnerleksikon reads the work as a warning of how humanity’s journey towards the future may end.
When the dictionary came out in 1982, this was Enstad’s only monument in bronze.
