Trees cut from a single solid block of steel. Put up again in Smedstuaparken at Stovner in 2011.
Enstad cut nine elements from one solid block of steel, and the middle one became a free-standing tree. The sculpture first stood at Bjørndal school in Oslo, was taken down in 2006–07 and spent some years in storage.
In 2011 it found a new place in Smedstuaparken in the Stovner district. Together with the city’s Agency for Cultural Affairs, Enstad welded the eight elements that used to form two groups into one, so the work now consists of a free-standing tree and a cluster of trees. The sculpture used to be lacquered; now it stands untreated, so the weld seams rust.
